Bringing together imagination, play, and inventive thinking, this program teaches kids the skills and thinking processes necessary to make their creative imagination productive! Students learn the principals of game design and are provided with the raw materials to design their own board game.
 
All Young Inventors will be invited to submit their inventions to the Young Inventor Challenge held at the Chicago Toy and Game Fair every November. Similar to a science fair, this free program requires aprototype and a poster display with a marketing message. Participants are encouraged to interact with the public at the Fair to explain how to play and get positive feedback on their ideas. Winners receive national attention and a professional consultation regarding their invention.
