Nearly 100 Title I students and their families attended their first Teaching Safari Game Night at St. John de la Salle. Educational games were selected and given to the students to play with parents and siblings. The games featured comprehensive coverage and differentiated instruction capabilities accommodating visual, written, oral, and aural learning styles, and also meet ISBE State Standards. The students were engaged in a hands-on format which allowed them to become active in the learning process. Parents enjoyed some "down time" followed by pizza, soda, water, and Icee Pops. -Kaye Phillips
